Conference Exhibition
TJA offers many vendor opportunities at our two major annual conferences, the TJA Annual Conference and the Jail Management Issues (JMI) Conference. TJA conferences have high attendence rates and vendors have many chances to make contact with these attendees. These opportunities include:
Exhibitor Booth
Purchasing an exhibit booth will include three full conference registrations and a 6 foot draped table to set up in the conference Exhibit Hall. All breakfast and refreshment breaks will be held inside the Exhibit Hall. There will also be a reception and dedicated exhibition times to give all conference exhibitors plenty of opportunities to be exposed to conference attendees. All exhibitors are also welcome to attend all conference functions.
Sponsorship
Conference exhibitors or even those who are not able to attend also have the option of event sponsorship. These events may include receptions, entertainment, and refreshment breaks. Sponsors are given special recognition in the conference workbook and through large signage that will be present at the sponsored event.
Door Prizes
Door prizes are another great way to reach out to attendees without attending the conference. If you are interested in donating a door prize, please contact Executive Director Sharese Hurst, sharese@shsu.edu. Your company will be recognized in the digital conference workbook and when the prize is given away.
Conference Mobile App
The mobile app is a great opportunity to advertise even after the conference is over. Mobile sponsors have several options available, from displaying full page ads, logos, and messages through the attendee's phone for as long as they own the app.
Conference Activities
There are many options to support TJA at the Annual Conference in the Spring or the Jail Management Issues Conference in the Fall. Each conference offers a variety of opportunities for sponsorship and company recognition, such as the golf tournament, fishing tournament, cornhole tournament, refreshment breaks, awards banquet, etc. Please refer to the Exhibitor Packet for a full list of available activities.

Exhibitor Booths
Table top exhibits will include a 6' table and 2 chairs. Regular exhibit fee will include a 10’ x 10’ exhibit, three company representatives per booth, with a six–foot, draped table and two chairs. The exhibit hall is carpeted. Additional exhibit personnel from your company may register for an extra $100 per person. Representatives can attend all the functions of the conference.
If you need electrical service, internet/telephone access, or audiovisual equipment for your exhibit space, fill out the attached form.
Embassy Suites Exhibitor Services
Food Memo
No unpackaged food is permitted to be handed out in the exhibit hall. Packaged and sealed items are permitted (e.g. cookies in a heat-sealed bag or shrink-wrapped container.)
Sales Memo
There will be no on-site sales permitted at TJA Conferences.
Non-Exhibitor Policy
Non-exhibiting companies are not allowed to distribute promotional material or solicit business in the exhibit hall; if found doing so, they will be asked to leave immediately and no refunds will be made.
The cost of TJA’s one-day exhibit hall pass will be $450.00 a day. TJA will continue to enforce our non-exhibitor policy. If found in violation of our policy; your company will not be permitted to attend or exhibit at either of the TJA Conferences for the next three years.
